The first part of the 2024-2025 season has come to an end and it is a great time to reflect and highlight the women of the Central Region and the growth we have seen this year. Pioneer Classic V Recap
This past weekend on November 9th, the University of Wisconsin Platteville (UWP) hosted the following teams at the Pioneer Classic V: University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), University of Wisconsin Stout (Stout), and the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire (UWEC). Eau Claire Dodgeball Brawl Recap
Last Saturday, September 21st, the NCDA kicked off the season with the Eau Claire Dodgeball Brawl. The teams in attendance were: the University of Wisconsin- Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. UWEC’s games were both scrimmage games and UWP vs Stout was the official match. The following were the results UWP vs UWS 4-0, UWP vs UWEC 3-1, and UWEC vs UWS 4-0. Eau Claire Dodgeball Brawl Preview
This Saturday, September 21st kicks off the start of the 2024-2025 NCDA season with the Eau Claire Dodgeball Brawl. The teams in attendance will be the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UWS), University of Wisconsin-Platteville (UWP), and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC). It is the end of the semester and it is time to grade the teams of the Midway Conference. This is at the request of Anthony Goetz of Midland University, ask and you shall receive, I just hope it is to your liking. The grading will be done by the yours truly, your favorite content writer. For this semester, some of the teams were very active and others were still trying to put a team together. This makes it challenging to grade these crews as I have yet to see them play. A Closer Look at the Region- (Midway Conference)
Next year should be a great for our region of the league. Just two years ago there were only three teams: DePaul, Platteville, and Nebraska. Now we have eight teams in our area (UW- Eau Claire, UW-Whitewater, UW-Platteville, DePaul, Northern Illinois, North Park, Nebraska, and Minnesota) and it won’t take long for these teams to be competitive. Director of League Expansion and Retention: Winter Update
The first half of the 2016-17 season is complete. We started the season with 23 active teams in the NCDA and now have 29 with plenty more waiting to get some action in the second half of the season. A total of 119 games were played last semester. That set a new record for the amount of matches played in the first half of the season. One can only predict that this record will continue to be broken for many years to come. This is thanks to the hard work of not just the Executive Board, but the active members of this league who have done an extraordinary job of getting the word out about this great sport. Below is an update on how the newly established member teams are doing this season and how close other prospective teams are to playing in the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association this season.

UWP 6v6 Recap
Blue & Orange Ball Chucking Bonanza- 6v6 Dodgeball Tournament
On October 22, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville hosted the NCDA’s first of four 6v6 tournaments in the hopes to recruit new teams to the league. Schools in attendance were University of Wisconsin-Platteville, DePaul University, University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. The day consisted of a round robin tournament followed by an elimination bracket. Here are the results for the day for the round robin and elimination bracket.
