The #4 GVSU Lakers won their record sixth Michigan Dodgeball Cup, going 3-0 on the day with wins over #6 SVSU (2-1 in OT), #10 CMU (4-0), and #3 MSU (3-2.) Grand Valley had a team effort, as their depth really showed in the tournament. There were multiple times that star players Mark Trippiedi (GVSU #8-C) and Dylan Fettig (GVSU #24-A) were on the bench, and the Lakers were able to hold off rallies and win points. All four teams had good showings though, with everyone having bright spots in their games.

CHICAGO – Ray Meyer: The 2013 Chicago Dodgeball Open featured some great dodgeball games and some good times had. With #3 James Madison (9-2-1), #4 Michigan State (9-3-1), #5 Grand Valley (7-1-0), #9 Moody Bible (2-3-0), #10 DePaul (2-6-0), and #17 Nebraska (0-4-0) all competing, it was a mix of many different play styles which made it a very unique tournament.

ALLENDALE- Grand Valley Fieldhouse Arena: Two titans of dodgeball proved they belong among the Nation’s best as they played out one of the best games of all time. The #6 Lakers (4-1-0), led by Captain Mark Trippiedi, won a wild affair 3-2 in overtime over #3 Michigan State (7-2-1), led by Captain Sam Hiller.

LEXINGTON – Alumni Gym: UK goes 3-0, Kent 2-1, WKU 1-2 and Miami 0-3 in the 2012 UK Invitational on November 10th. University of Kentucky Dodgeball hosted Kent State, Miami University and Western Kentucky University.
