2012 was a great year for dodgeball, with a new champion crowned, tons of games played, and lots of fun had. Here’s a recap of what went down, as one season ended and another began…

- 18– Eighteen players were named to the first ever All-NCDA team, headlined by MVP Spencer Jardine (SVSU #77-C)
- 14– The most points scored in a game in 2012 (MSU against Nebraska, JMU against Towson)

- 11– Overtime games, three of which were under the new OT rules.
- 38– Games played by Kent State in 2012, the most in the NCDA.
- 83– The speed of the throw, in MPH, that Wes Hopkins (UK #1) threw at Nationals 2012
- 0– The amount of times GVSU was shut out in 2012
- 3– The amount of losses SVSU had in 2012, the most losses by a National Champion in recorded history.
- 16– Different venues that hosted a NCDA match in 2012.
- 4480-Miles traveled (there and back) for Kent State in 2012
- 2388– Miles traveled (there and back) for Northwestern State for their lone tournament of the year (Nationals 2012)
