NCDA Selection Sunday
April Annihilation begins with the 2013 All Star Draft, tonight at 9:15pm EST on Google+ and Youtube, as well as ncdadodgeball.com. Captains Dan Shackelford and Felix Perrone of the Brave Little Toasters and Sam Hiller and Zigmas Maloni of the Monstars will do their part to split up the All Stars into the best All Star Game yet.
However, the fun continues Sunday night, as Zac Brown of UK Dodgeball will release the schedule for Nationals live on Google+ and Youtube, and he will be joined by a group of NCDA veterans who will be breaking down the pools. It is tenatively scheduled for 9:30pm EST this Sunday!
Be sure to check them out if you’re interested!
Region Realignment
Regions are fluid and flexible. They are designed to group teams together based on who teams play the most. For example, MSU, GV, SV, and CMU played each other a total of 19 matches in the 2013 Season. They are grouped in the MI region because they play each other, not because of any special geographical significance. Although distance may play a part in how teams play each other more regularly, the important thing is the end result. Regions are based on statistics.
Here is a sheet detailing who’s played who for the 2013 season. I’ve included the upcoming DePaul-Moody match. Continue reading “Region Realignment”
