A way to recognize the shining players of the League!
NCDA Baller of the Month is chosen near the middle of the month, and it is referred to as the BOTM of the same month he or she was chosen. For example, a player is chosen on January 15. That player is BOTM for January, which stays up from about Jan 15 – Feb 14.
BOTM: 2012 October
The man with the howitzer arm, Wes Hopkins, is the Baller of the Month for the month of October. He got clocked in at over 80 mph at Nationals in April and was named to the All-NCDA team. His talent and growth as a player has helped turned Kentucky into a National title threat. He’s one of the most feared players in the league, and is one of the best players in Kentucky history. We couldn’t choose! Spencer and Lindsay brought us Nationals 2012 hosted at SVSU. This this picture, you can see thier two key trophy wins of this season: the Michigan Dodgeball Cup and Nationals 2012.

Kyle FitzPatrick – Kent #72
Kyle FitzPatrick with a capital P is a lovable mainstay of the NCDA. He has helped lead Kent State into a formidable force: the member team has:
- Defended the top standings for a strong part of the season
- Helped with a crucial east coast expansion
- Won two NCDA tournaments, the first and second title wins in the team’s history
- Holds a record breaking amount of season wins by a member team
- Placed in the 1st seed for Nationals

Chris Via – UMD #23
Chris and the rest of Maryland hosted their first event as a NCDA member team, an event that brought three new east coast member teams into the NCDA.

As Vice President of SVSU, Lindsay is an instrumental part of the planning regarding Nationals 2012 at SVSU.

Pat Fisher – CMU
Pat Fisher led Central Michigan to the team’s first National Title, defeating multi title and defending champion Grand Valley at Nationals 2011.

Felix Perrone – WKU
Felix planned, hosted, and executed the most impressive and largest Nationals to date, with 17 teams in attendance.

Chad Schlundt – MBI #00
Chad played so well at the CDO that players from the other attending teams nominated him for this honor.

Jeremy Dugans – EMU #20
Dugans has played well for a much improved EMU team that’s sure to make a noise in April.

Tim Wohead – WIU #55
Tim has WIU at 3-0 this season despite being an NCDA team for only two years.

Zac Brown – UK
Zac lead UK to a 2-1 win over WKU and is gaining respect for his team throughout the entire NCDA.

Austin came back from California to take over a Louisville team in need of a leader after Ben’s departure.

Aleks Bomis – MSU Alum
Mr. Bomis was elected the first Commissioner of the NCDA and helped make the League into what it is today.

Alexis single-handedly planned one of the best National Tournaments in recent memory.
