2015 Rulebook Vote #1 – Results

Current rules all around on the three options: and Voters confirmed that teams are only allowed one 20 player roster for the duration of an Event. The full results from the Preferential election can be found in the media archive. The short gist can be found after the jump.

Should Member Teams be allowed to submit multiple rosters to an event?

10 – No, a team is limited to one Roster that is defined for the entirety of the Event.
5 – Yes, a team may submit more than one team for play in an Event.

Winner: No, a team is limited to one Roster that is defined for the entirety of the Event.


 

How many dodgeballs should be in play for a particular point?

14 – Current Rule, 10 balls in play
1 – 8 balls in play, (with a 1st preference on 10 players in a point)

Winner: Current Rule, 10 balls in play. [Ed.] More dodgeballs over less dodgeballs!


On redefining the SIZE of our game:

No Change, current rule wins out in the 2nd Round.
15 players in a Point (must have 10 players to play). 20 players in a roster.

Notes: In the first round, the two options with 15 players in a point remained while the other decreasing options where dropped. 20 player rosters went up against 25 player rosters, and 20 player rosters was more preferred.


On redefining the FORMAT of our game:

No Change, current rule wins out in the 1st Round.
12 for a Clock of 50 minutes of play. , 3 for Best of 7.
