The first matches of the season will be played this weekend in Lexington, Kentucky. The rivals plan to play a doubleheader, with a possible JV match following the varsity action.
A lot is on the line here, even though this is so early in the year. The winner of this clash will not only have bragging rights in one of the NCDA’s best rivalries, but will also likely be the early favorite to be the top team in the Kentucky region.
