NCDA Internship Program Continues

The NCDA believes in the development of our student-athletes’ education and is proud to announce that we will be able to continue our Internship Program. The NCDA offered an internship last year and was able to develop a startup guide for new and current teams (Startup Guide). As part of the completing the internship and meeting our expectations, the NCDA was able to offer a scholarship to that intern for their work.

The Tim Ebert Memorial Scholarship was awarded in the amount of $500. Tim Ebert was a player at the University of Wisconsin Platteville who was respected by his teammates as a captain and friend. Tim could always be counted on, always be there to help, and was always making a difference. It was for these reasons the NCDA thought it fitting to develop a scholarship in his name. A scholarship that will continue to make a difference for years to come, just like #12 made a difference and continues to make a difference.

Tim Ebert- #12
Tim’s teammates are just a fraction of the people that Tim helped and made a difference in their lives.

The NCDA will be offering an internship once again this year. So if you are interested in helping the league and receiving money to help pay for school, watch for the announcement of the application process in a week. I want to say thanks to everyone that helped me in this process, who donated, or contributed their time, it has been much appreciated. The NCDA and I look forward to the continued growth of this program.

The NCDA hosts an annual tournament in Tim’s name to offer the scholarship. This is from the first event, which is allowing the NCDA to continue this program for years to come.
