USA National Dodgeball Team Applications

The USA National Team will play other national teams in New Zealand and Australia in September.

Ian Childs [MSU] said this about the NCDA: “you’ll find a plethora of talented guys and girls who will no doubt win games.” There’s always plenty of dodgeball going around, and more dodgeball is being played all the time.

Currently, the USDO [USA Dodgeball Organization] is searching for players for the USA’s national team, in Australia this September. The Deadline is June 30th, but they only consider people that apply. Full information can be found on a facebook post in their group.

Deadline: June 30th, 2013
Choosing 6 Male Players and 6 Female Players To Represent Our Country and attend the WDBF Invitational in New Zealand September 27th. Two Alternates will also be chosen to go should someone drop out.

Please submit all male/female applications to: bill.fair@worlddodgeball.org.
Female applicants emails will be forwarded to Nicole for consideration.
**AND YES EVEN IF YOU KNOW US YOU STILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE FULL PROCESS BELOW**

SUBMIT ONE EMAIL THAT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING TO: bill.fair@worlddodgeball.org.

1) A one page biography about yourself describing why you would like to go on the trip, past accomplishments and how you’ve helped to grow the sport of dodgeball. Please include contact information and list the current state you reside in.

2) Submit a YouTube/Vimeo link to a highlight film of your game play. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes.

3) Submit a YouTube/Vimeo link to one full game un-edited that you’ve played in. Length does not matter..We want to see unedited footage of a game you’ve played in.

**If you do not receive a confirmation back via email that we received your info within 48 hours please contact us on this page.

We will be attending as many tournaments as possible between now and the deadline. We will post which tournaments we are headed to and when on this page. Please get in front of us and say hi.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A PLAYER
Honesty and integrity First both on and off the court skill second. You are representing your country at these events. We expect that when you get hit by a ball and even if the ref doesn’t see it.. you need to go out. If you have a habit of winning local tournaments in your area by playing the whistle please do not apply. We will hold our players to the highest standard.
