Season Preview: They will be starting their season out this Saturday in Platteville, and they are ready for another year to start.  From last year’s games, they plan to take what they learned and apply it to make the games closer this time around. They should be fun to watch.  We will see how much they’ve improved from last year.

The Good News: This is their second year in the league and they are able to channel their experiences and put it to good use to be more competitive with some of the teams they played such as DePaul and Ball State.  They are eager to get started and are ready to get better.

The Bad News: They are still a young team and have a lot to learn. It will take time before they are confident going into games and feeling like they can hang with teams.  Their first match will be tough, and they will need to get in a few more tournaments before things start to click.

Our Call: This will definitely be a good season for this squad. We believe their skill is going to improve tremendously and they will get out to several more tournaments this year. SIUE will play some teams really tough and play in some close games. Looking forward to see how they progress throughout the season.
