Season Preview: The Cardinals are entering their second year as a program and can build off some good experience from the 2017-18 season.

The Good News: Ball State has a lot of returning players, and apparently have already recruited a few solid players for the upcoming season.  A couple players also got the opportunity to improve their skills over the summer during the Elite dodgeball season.

The Bad News: It’s still an inexperienced team and they have a lot to learn in their second season.  This is fairly normal for a young program so it’s not extremely concerning, but it doesn’t give a lot of hope for the current season at hand.

Our Call: Ball State will continue to develop and improve their teamwork under the leadership of Kevin Frye, however it will still be fairly difficult for this team to walk away with a ton of wins early on in the season.
