This year the Platteville Dodgeball Club will be hosting an online tournament to raise money for the Tim Ebert Memorial Scholarship. With all the uncertainty going on, Platteville wanted to ensure that they could continue to help the NCDA with their internship program. For this year’s fundraiser, the Platteville Dodgeball Club will be putting on a Rocket League tournament. The tournament will be held August 8-9. Registration is due by July 26th, at 11:59p.m eastern time.
The tournament will consist of teams of 2 and you are allowed 1 sub if needed. It will consist of round robin or pool play depending on the number of participants, followed by bracket play. An entry of $20/team is required to play and a cash prize will be given to the team that wins it all (will be based on the # of teams). Please look over the rules before signing up.
As part of the fun, we will be streaming games and will have commentators such as the NCDA’s intern, Caleb Frank for some of these matches. It is a great opportunity for everyone to get involved and be part of something that is for a good cause. If you cannot partake in the event and would still like to donate, just click on the entry fee submission link below. When you submit your payment, in the notes section, enter “Scholarship Program.” The following links will provide you with more details on the rules of the tournament, how to register, and how to pay your team entry fee.
