2017 Season Travel Summary

Continuing on an article written in October 2016 where the distance each team traveled per season was calculated, I have compiled the 2017 season data.

Below you will find rankings for how many miles that were traveled by each school going to and from NCDA Events for the 2016/2017 Season


2016/2017 Season

During the 2016/2017 season, teams traveled an estimated total of 124,576.4 miles to and from events. If we multiply that by 4.5 cars per trip (that’s a guesstimate) it totals out to 560,593 miles put on vehicles for the sake of NCDA dodgeball trips during the 2016/2017 season. There were 191 unique trips made to other schools for events, at an average of 655.7 miles round-trip per event.

August 2010-April 2017:

From August 2010-April 2017, teams traveled an estimated total of 559,534.8 miles to and from events. If we multiply that by 4.5 cars per trip (that’s a guesstimate) it totals out to 2,517,906.6 miles put on vehicles for the sake of NCDA dodgeball trips from August 2010-April 2017. There were 964 unique trips made to other schools for events, at an average of 580.4 miles round-trip per event.
