Rosen Bowl II Preview

This tournament, being hosted on the 22nd of November, 2025, will be a double header between UW-Stout and UW-Eau Claire at UW-Stout (UWEC and UWS respectively). Both teams will have a relatively short reprise from the tournament setting as both teams attended the Pioneer Classic VI just two weeks prior but were unable to play each other. Below is the schedule for the day and a brief preview of each team.

University of Wisconsin-Stout (UWS)

The Blue Devils will be bringing eleven players to their home tournament with captains being veterans Angel Lucero and Tyler Mathison and rookies Elliot Harding and Jessica Mudek with the support of their coach Jacob Serbranek. Stout has attended two NCDA tournaments so far this season; the first being the Eau Claire Brawl on September 20th and the second being the Pioneer Classic VI on November 8th. A few of their players attended the NDA event in Platteville on September 6th which allowed them to play the Platteville alumni and the new Iowa State team. At the Eau Claire Brawl, UWS shocked the other teams with how well they performed as they were confident and capable of standing on their own. Their captains provided support for their rookies, and they allowed them to try new things in order to learn.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

The Blugolds will be brining eight to the double header with captains in Cleo Moen and Kaitlynn Moore with Matt Polum supporting them. This team plays all kinds of dodgeball; most notably is Matt’s participation in the NDA season on the Pickaxers team. He traveled all over with the team and went to NDA nationals in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he was a critical team member. They too attended the Pioneer Classic VI tournament where they joined forces with the alumni and ended up going 3-0 that day. Player and captain Cleo Moen has shown a lot of growth over the previous season, and her leadership is an important asset to Eau Claire’s team and growth. Co-Captain Kaitlynn Moore has only attended one NCDA event so far–the UWEC home tournament, so her appearance at the Rosen Bowl II is greatly looked forward to. These two players, as well as their coach, have paved the way for their team to be extremely successful in this event, and hopefully their teammates will further gain the confidence required to hold their own in the league.

Final Thoughts

It is so exciting that these teams have recruited enough people to form teams capable of fighting in the league and playing games that count toward their standing. Check out the Blue Devils dodgeball YouTube Channel for the live streaming of the tournament.
