Sitely History:
In the summer of 2008, Josh Raymer [WKU] partnered with designer Derek Sabiston to launch the NCDA’s new website. According to Jazzy’s first podcast, elements of ESPN’s site, and other sites like that of the NFL, were included in the html design. The new NCDA site’s content driven format was well received by the League.
In early 2011, management of the site was transferred to Zigmas Maloni [DePaul-68]. The design from 2008 was used for a while, with only minor updates to the content, code, and navigation structure.
From January to August of 2012, a new site was laid in the WordPress platform, with designs from Maloni and Kevin “Champ” Hill [DePaul-42]. This CMS would keep the spirit of Raymer’s content driven goals and allow more content to be released with less effort.
