Overview: The NCDA’s National Tournament will make it’s way back to the state of Kentucky for the second time in three seasons in 2015 when it is hosted by Western Kentcuky. Last time, was the 2013 tournament held at University of Kentucky.
A lot has changed since the Wildcats hosted the final tournament of the college dodgeball season. In 2013 UK entered Nationals with a 16-1 record (tops in the nation). Last season the Wildcats only managed six wins total.
While Kentucky seemed to struggle last season, don’t be surprised if they have a rebound season in 2014-15. Captain Brandon Engelman will lead the Wildcats alongside veterans Zac Brown and Drew Greenawalt.
Kentucky starts their season September 13th with a doubleheader against rival Western Kentucky. UK should once again compete for the top position in their region and look to make a run at Nationals 2015.
