  1. Hey guys, just wanted to point out that Kent State only took 13 people to the Miami round robin, 5 of which were experiencing their first NCDA play. Apparently there was never any communication on the topic. The entire day was viewed as a developmental experience for KSU, so the 1-2 record was quite expected. Seeing as this team has only lost to MSU and UK outside of the Miami round robin, I’d love to know what more we can do to be considered a legitimate contender.

  2. Doug this is old news! They have words that come out of their mouths that say they give credit to Kent but its all two-faced. They are just bitter for something the Kent had no control and need someone to blame. (Nationals 2012) They probably think we don’t understand what they are saying but I do. I’m Jam Filler I know everything!

    1. We only report on what we know. If someone had let us know ahead of time that Kent only brought 13 players (and 5 rookies), we obviously would have mentioned it. We’ve done that with SVSU, UK, and other teams as well. This isn’t new.

And from what I’ve seen from you “Jam Filler” is that you’ve been complaining about not getting enough credit in the past, but now you’re upset because we’ve given you “two faced” credit? Look, I’ve talked to several players on your team and there is plenty of respect between us, so if you have any specific examples of our “two-faced” credit, I’d be happy to address it.

We’re not doing this podcast to be a glorified shoutout. We sit down, we look at the numbers/events of note of the league, and we give our opinions on them. Not all teams get equal “airtime”. That being said, constructive suggestions for improvement are welcome, but we will continue to ignore pleas of “they don’t give us enough credit BECAUSE they don’t give us enough credit”.

  3. I do want to make clear so none of the Kent players get in trouble, I am NOT on Kent. I doubt you believe me but just wanted to throw that out there.

  4. Lack of content to talk about has been a problem for Average Joes’ long before Sam and Mike took over, even going back to Raymer.

If you want something brought up on the Podcast about a certain game, post it on the forums! http://ncdadodgeball.proboards.com/index.cgi?
Anyone recording the podcast doesn’t get much to start with, with only numbers to go on. We don’t even have accurate records previous to 2010. Don’t whine about something after the fact, please help us out by submitting content… It’s free, and so is this site’s staff.

Jam Filler’s IP is near Seville, Ohio, 20-30 min from Kent. But I’m not saying you’re on the team and hiding.
