The Baller of the Month award is an award given monthly to a player voted on by their teammates to recognize all the hard work they have put into the team throughout the month. This month\u2019s recipient is Senior Cody Baxter. Here\u2019s what he had to say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you feel about getting BOTM?  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel honored, I’ve had a lot of setbacks throughout my career here at UWP but I wanted to end on a high note and give this team everything I had left in me this last month and they saw that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you accomplished the goals you wanted this season? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes and no. I improved and was able to be leaned on when I needed to be that guy, however, I really wanted to have one season here where I was healthy from start to finish and life thought otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you felt about the season? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t think I could have asked for a better season with the cards we were dealt. This team was the closest knit unit we have had during my tenure and for as young as the team is, these guys really picked up on things and made it a fun atmosphere to be around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anything else you\u2019d like to say to the team\/readers?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to thank everyone for their support. We really appreciate having you guys there for us. To the team, thank you for this past season. I’m going to miss being on the court with you guys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
