The new season of dodgeball is here and underway.\u00a0 There is a lot to expect from our team this year with more returning players than the previous year.\u00a0 We have nearly a full team of returning players, many of which have two or more years of experience on the team.\u00a0 The year kicked off with the first practice on Sunday the 4th<\/sup>, where we saw many new faces looking to join the team.\u00a0 Through this new season, I would plan on seeing the Platteville Dodgeball Club working more as a whole, with improved team dynamics, better catching, and an overall faster pace than the last season.<\/p>\n Players to look for-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Will Martin-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0We can expect to see the former freshman sensation make more incredible catches, even though he is not a freshman any more\u2026<\/p>\n Matt Bautch-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Keep an eye out for the previous NCDA September 2015 Baller of the month, and the 2015-2016 All American Team.<\/p>\n Nicklaus Harding-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The Club President for the 2016-2017 season, very good all round player, he can throw, catch, dodge, you name it\u2026 Plus the beard.<\/p>\n Tim Ebert-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0It may be his second year on the team but you could easily think he\u2019s been doing it since he was 5.<\/p>\n Jordan Gillette-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Throughout the new season it would be easily said he will be the most improved player from the previous year.<\/p>\n Brandon(s)-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Between Brandon Dane and Brandon McCullough there is an enormous amount of catching ability.\u00a0 Dane had an and exceptional previous season, especially at the CMU tournament where he made 5 consecutive catches.\u00a0 McCullough also had an amazing season, he is really able to throw himself at any ball to make a catch.<\/p>\n There are many more players on the team to keep an eye on, I could have kept writing about everyone but I want to keep this short.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Upcoming tournaments-<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0At Nebraska-<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the weekend of September 24th<\/sup>, where we expect see the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Northern Texas, and DePaul.<\/p>\n At DePaul-\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>the weekend of October 8th<\/sup>, where we expect to play against DePaul, and Nebraska.<\/p>\n Home<\/em><\/strong>\u2013 the weekend of October 22nd<\/sup>, Again we expect to see DePaul and Nebraska.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
