After a long summer the 2018-19 dodgeball season is finally here. UW-Platteville has big expectations for this season. They are led by a strong senior class that wants to leave it all out on the court. Here is the season preview by some of UWP\u2019s board members:<\/p>\n

Name:\u00a0Mark Liedtke (Captain)<\/strong><\/p>\n

What would you say is the status of the team right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team is working on shaking off the rust right now and bringing the new members up to speed on the game of dodgeball.<\/p>\n

What things do you want to see the team improve upon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The biggest things we have to work on are communication and trusting each other to be in the right positions.<\/p>\n

What are your expectations for the team for the season?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think we are a lot better than our preseason ranking of 17th<\/sup>\u00a0and once our veteran players get back in the groove, we can push for top 10.<\/p>\n

What would you say is the status of the team right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team has a lot of returning members who are bringing what they learned last season into this one. We are going to be a force to reckon with.<\/p>\n

What things do you want to see the team improve upon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to see the team get better at pushing up together.<\/p>\n

What are your expectations for the team for the season?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think we have what it takes to make it to the final four this year. We got a lot of seniors who want to make it a great last season.<\/p>\n

What would you say is the status of the team right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team is trying to build on the foundation of the returning members, while also teaching the new members the basics for a strong base.<\/p>\n

What things do you want to see the team improve upon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team needs to improve on court communications so that we look like a team on the court.<\/p>\n

What are your expectations for the team for the season?<\/strong><\/p>\n
