Q: How does it feel to win this award?
A: I am thrilled to receive this award from my teammates. I had a lot of fun this year showing all the young pups on the team how to play the game of dodgeball.
Q: What is your favorite Dodgeball Tournament that you participated in your career?
A: My favorite tournament is probably this year at the national tournament at Grand Rapids, Michigan. We really showed all the teams there that we are underrated, and it was awesome.
Q: Any advice you want to give the team for next year?
A: Listen to your new captains next season and do some recruiting and I know you guys will do great. Good luck!
Q: What is your favorite memory and part of dodgeball?
A: My favorite memories come from traveling with the team. When you sit in a car for six plus hours you find out how crazy your teammates can be. Every season I get to meet new guys and make great friends along the way. If I had to pick my favorite all time memory, it would be the time during practice when I hit a former teammate on our team last year nicknamed soccer mom. He was running across the court and I threw a ball at him across court and hit him in the head while he was in stride. He dropped flat on his back and it was hilarious. For the record, he was fine and got up and told me nice hit.
Q: If you could get anyone on the team out with a headshot, who would it be?
A: Dave Ruegsegger because he is my roommate and he always eggs me on to throw at him. I usually win.
Q: What will you miss the most about college dodgeball? Why?
A: I like they style of play that college dodgeball offers. It is more of a team sport and involves strategy. Other version of the sport relies on just skill and pure luck.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
A: Grand Canyon. I love aimlessly hiking. Couldn’t think of a better place to do that.
Q: If you could choose any person in the NCDA to be your teammate, who would it be?
A: Kevin Corotis from Miami Ohio, because he is one of the most interesting guys I have played with. He’s got spunk!
Q: What would be your dream car, concert and etc..?
A: Dream car is a Hellcat and or Tesla. And concert would be Panic at the Disco. Which I went to and it was amazing.
