Here are Dan’s thought on winning this award and the future.
Q: How does it feel to win this award?
A: I feel honored. There was a lot of people who greatly improved this season.
Q: What are you looking forward to for the team next year?
A: I’m looking forward to having a large base of experience for next year. The majority of the team that traveled this year were freshmen, so it will be impressive to go with a higher level of experience.
Q: What is your dream car, hobby or etc.
A: A hobby of mine is playing guitar. It is creative and relaxing.
Q: What is your favorite dodgeball memory?
A: It would have to be catching the ball during the Akron game that gave us the go-ahead point. The other teams thought we were going to get blown out, and then we were winning.
Q: Tell us about yourself?
A: Next year I will be a 5th year senior and working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering
Q: If you could change your name to anything, what would it be?
A: Albert
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
A: Italy. I have wanted to go there for as long as I can remember. Mostly because of the history.
Q: What are your goals as captain next season?
A: I want to be able to come up with a couple skill training drills that will be focusing on certain aspects of a player’s game. And we are going to the final four at Nationals.
